My Huge Cat...

That's why I sleep with extra pillows. It helps ease the loneliness of sleeping alone while not sticking a paw in my mouth when they want to eat.

haha :) they just lick my eyelids and meow really loudly. Damn bastards have to eat at 6 am. brats.

I swear they're so so spoiled.

Who needs kids?

Well kids can be a bit more interesting than cats, but cats are much less work over all. :)

Mine somehow magically know it's time to scratch on my door to go out whenever I've either a)just goten comfortable and about to go to sleep or b) right about to masturbate. It's really annoying. But he's a sweetie.

Damn, girl, you got more curves than a racetrack.

You got more legs than a bucket of chicken.

Nice shoes, wanna fuck?

Snowball

My grandmother had a massive Persian Tom named Snowball that if anything he was a good 35 pounds, as a child I thought all cats were this big and was very much disappointed to find he was not the norm .....

Why'm I thinking of one of the huge cats suddenly speaking in a Cartman voice...

"I'm not fat, I'm big boned!"

my cat, however, rolls over in my lap, his huge belly almost too much in the way, rolls his eyes towards me, opens his mouth, and belches.

We have six kitties - Mac is the only one who is, um, big-boned!

He's a long hair cat, and he can't quite reach to groom by his butt because of his tummy. He gets furballs in his armpits and behind his back legs. We have to trim his tangles - oh boy, does he love that! :D

We have a special hair clipper just for him, and we usually trim all his fur way back at the start of summer anyway (otherwise he'd be a major clump-ball)!

:p

Cosmic has two strange problems. 1) he can't reach his butt. it's so funny and sad to see him rocking back and forth on his back trying to get at it, but he just can't! 2) if you pet him behind his middle, the back half of his body, he HAS to lick/chew his front legs. just touch him there and he's gnawing away at himself. it's so sad! combine the two and it's hilarious. he'll be laying on the floor, trying to rock back and forth to reach his butt, but the carpet is touching his back half so he's also gnawing on his front leg! lmao.

that's too funny

chicklet, i have a 23 pound cat named tucker who obsessively sucks his right front paw. he'll be lying around minding his own business but if you talk sweet to him or pet him he starts sucking that paw. the noise will drive you crazy at night in the bed (until you get used to it).

i also have a 9 month old 3 pound kitten who will probably never be much bigger than that. her mama abandoned her on our deck when she was still covered in afterbirth... thought she was a goner. something so little had to have a big name so she is baby isabella. her back legs are crippled (subluxated kneecaps) and she has a difficult time walking and can't jump. (i carry her around everywhere i go) on top of being cross-eyed. (plus she seems a little "off" if you know what i mean!). she's laying in my lap now tangled up in the mouse cord and doesn't seem to mind. however, getting back to my fat cat, sometimes when he is tired of sucking his paw he obsessively cleans baby isabella. he thinks we got him a baby. she's the cleanest, softest kitty. plus when tucker takes a break from sucking his paw isabella will take over and suck it for him. they are neutered and spayed or i would tell them to get a room. i'll have to post a pic of them one of these days.

y'all have a good day.

Four cats, all over 12 lbs.

Miles- (THUDbunny's brother ironically) Smallest of the lot. Long and Skinny, 12.5 lbs, I think most of that's probably fur and tail (16') grey tabby on white.

Bustopher Jones- 17 lbs- Tuxedo, Senior kitty, Rotund

Lumox- 22 lbs- Main Coone Brown Tabbey- Just BIG. Looks like he could whipe the floor with any dog who even thought about it.

THUDbunny (aka James)- 36 lbs. only has one usable eye

How they grow so big around here is that we neuter promptly at 6 months, we have demand feeding, and we usually get strays who never learned to stop eating when they're full. Then each of them has a special thing that contributes to the weight. Miles is a Ratter, he drops half a rat carcass in the garden at least once a day. Bustopher- Has this strange fondness for Chips and Asparagus, both of which he mooches off my father. Lumox- Don't bring any sort of breakfast pastry in this house and think that you're not going to share. Particularly Danish. The cat has perfected a method of leaping over your lap and snatching the pastry with his mouth, we discovered it the first weekend after we rescued him. That and Turkey. James- Cheese and Sea Food freak. My father gets up for cheese and crackers at midnight, I know it because my feet are suddenly resting on the mattress instead of being firmly pressed into it. And again, my father indulges the cat.

*rotfl*

LadyDarkFire -- Oh the things we do for our "Fuzzy children!"

Ramses (aka. "Boo") is 16 lbs. He loves his kitty treats -- he'll come into the kitchen, sit down and sit pretty on his back legs.

Nefertiti (Nefey) is a talker -- She's only 8 lbs -- she talks back to Hubby on a regular basis.

Neither of them like "people food" much except Boo. He eats chicken, roast, saltine crackers and potato chips! :)

My big pussy

I have one too over twenty pounds. Her (half) sister is only around 12 or so though. I'll have to find a pic. But 36 pounds?!? Yikes! I have trouble keeping these two in food as it is.

My baby boy....

Here is Pumpkin....all 20 lbs of him!!

He is the most loveable kitty and he thinks he's a lap cat too!

Thinking of our kitty "Jenny" who is incredibly spoiled. (she doesn't see it that way, of course - she just believes all humans should cater to her every whim.)

She loves fresh water - ice cold - and tends to follow us around the house until we freshen the kitty water or add cubes.

We are so trained.
