Haunted.

There are seven ghosts living in my house, one is a little boy who's name is Tom, he's eight and he has a dog named Ruff who walks around at night. Tom lives in my room.

There are two evil ghosts, May and John, they live in the basement.

There are also Kate, Fa, Jo, and Pete. We haven't talked to them, only Tom.

We are thinking about calling a medium to help us out and find out more.

Any advice?

Yes, Tom told us about the others. He's scared of John and May and won't talk about them. He used the number 666 to describe them, and anytime we asked about them, he went to that number.

My roommate's house in Pittsburgh, Pa is haunted too. They actually had Unsolved Mysteries come to their house and film a story, but the show never aired. My roommate said they have a photograph of a birthday party where her sister and her and standing in front of their cake, and between them is the form of her late grandmother. She said you can actually see the earrings and glasses that her grandmother wore all the time.

First things first

Hi, Little Red Devil, long time no see.

How active are they? My wife and daughter swore to me our house was haunted when we moved in. The former occupant had shot himself in the head in one bedroom (in fact, when we were shown the house, there was a piece of carpet cut from the bedroom floor where he died)

I laughed at them for the longest time. Then one night, I got engrossed in a book I was reading and stayed up after everyone else had gone to bed. At 2 AM, a music box began to play. Funny thing is, we dont own a music box. It played for about 2 minutes then stopped. We later talked to a neighbor and found out that the fellows girl friend (who left him, causeing him too.....) had collected music boxes and he had even made one for her.

But that was about 5 years ago. We havn't had anything strange happen in the house in about 4 years now. Can't explain it either way, but thats my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Hi darling willy! Sorry for my absence, I didn't think it would last this long. We moved into a new house and I'm just now getting everything all settled. But I'm back!

Anywho, they are pretty active. Tom talked to one of my roommates. And someone kept turning the radio in the basement on and off. We hear giggling sometimes, and a dog whining and walking around the house. They turn things on and off and move things on us.

Well, we used a Ouija board. I know, I know, it sounds bogus, but my roommates were all to creeped out by it to move it themselves. We were all pretty scared last night, so we powwowed in the master bedroom and locked the door.

Can I just take a moment to scoff? If Ouija boards were the real thing, they would move without anybody touching them. Talk about a self-reinforcing myth. And 666? It's a popular conception that 666 represents the devil, due to movies such as "The Omen". It doesn't. It represents Nero, oppressor of Christians in past times.

I know, I know, Ouija boards are stupid. It started out all fun and games, but now I'm not so sure. I would have felt better if it hadn't talked to one of us, and if things didn't move from one place to another all by themselves.

Personally I would like to bring in a medium to see what turns up. What do you guys think?

Hell if I were near I would have to investigate ( I have always wanted to meet/see/hear a real ghost). First place I would go is to the basement and see how bad these 'bad' ghosts really are. And wasnt the whole 666 thing based on the mark Satan will place on those he controls during the last stages of the end of the world? Where is that bible thumpin Todd when we need him.

Yes you are correct it is the number of the beast in which people will have to take either on thier hand or thier forhead during the 7 year tribulation period if they want to buy anything like food or water or clothes or neccesities. With out the mark one will be unable to purchase anything.

I'm not really scared, at least not of Tom. I won't go in the basement though. I avoid it at all costs. I have to go down there, but I only do it during the day, and only with all the lights on. Our washer and dryer are down there, so I kinda don't have a choice.

Pyper, I really like you, but sometimes your scientific methods are as bogus as some ghost stories.

You have no proof of your beliefs, and there are a lot of things that occur that lean toward the existance of spiritual entities.

I am not saying anything either way, but I've seen far too much shit, that puts your theory of non existance to question.




If you are ever planning on becoming a scientist, you need to work on your objectivity.

What is it with old beliefs? I mean if a ghost really wanted to harm you or anything daylight and light wouldnt make them go away would it? BTW, LRD have you had any time to like research or ask around about the history of the house?

Geez Siren, scary stuff, but I'm sure it is true. I have never had that much contact but I can feel them and I have lived in two haunted houses when I was younger. Icky, I expect someone to pull up the old ghost thread soon.
