What brands?
What brand(s) did you buy? We got burned once (figuratively and literally) by a not-so-cheap vibrator so we tried to research brands before we took the plunge and got a Rabbit. The things are so expensive. There are some reviews out there, but most seem to be from people who will make a buck if you buy from them ... and they each carry different brands so their motives are a little suspect. We finally got an iVibe Rabbit ($80) and haven't had a complaint yet, except perhaps that it has a stong latexish smell.
We're ready to move on to another toy, but again don't want to feel like idiots for wasting our money. When you get yours, start a review thread and we'll post too!

Can you provide a cite for this? Where did you hear this? How do they know how many toys you have? He beat me to it-I doubt I could have done better. There's an old adage hereabouts that says "With five you're a hobbyist, over five you're a felon." Texas is the buckle of the Bible belt. There was a guy who opened up a sex store on the edge of town a few years back-he got so many lawsuits that his head was spinning-church groups were picketing daily-and every week there was a writeup in the papers about undercover stings on purchases involving "lifelike" sexual devices. He finally had to close down and shortly afterwards "Wranglers" as it was called, was torched .I order my stuff through Blowfish in California-they're pretty good and really up to date on sex laws etc. I am kind of paranoid now with the Patriot Act in place-My apartment management allows for random "sneak n peek" incursions while replacing an air filters or checking the security alarms. It sucks.
