My first story!

Yay! I have just finished the first chapter of the first story i've ever written to be posted anywhere... and now, i'm in need of an editor to help me with this story

Its a Fantasy/Sci-Fi story with a feather's touch of Non-con and very very light BDSM for the first chapter (incest is mentioned as a joke, so i don't think that counts...), but will get more heavily into Non-con/BDSM and possibly worse later.
The first chapter is roughly 14000 words in length.

It's spell/grammer checked with MS Word 2003 (though not style checked), so i guess what i need is someone to help me with the flow of the story, word usage (unnecessary then/the, using to instead of as, etc), and tense swiching that causes you to go "wait, what?" I read it over myself a few times already, but i'm sure you all know how unreliable that is, being the author of your own story... >_>

Anyone wanna help me? Please?

Hey - I'm fairly new here myself, but I have done all kinds of writing, and I teach writing and English, so I think I can help you. I signed up to be an editor and submitted two chapters of my own stuff, but I'm not sure what happens next, if I'm listed somewhere as an editor, or if my stories will ever be posted (it's been almost a week). Point is, I like sci-fi, light BDSM, and I know how to tell a story that flows. I'm up.
