My First Story Is Up At Last

Over six hundred views already but only seven people have voted I wonder why so few vote

Mike

Get used to it. I have a story posted that has over 15,000 views and not even 100 votes.

I've got 3 stories up, over 10,000 votes, and 4 feedback messages, NONE from my latest story.

Feedback is more important than the votes as far as I'm concerned, it lets me know someone read my work, and liked it or not.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....

Good content. 5everal typos--need to proofread more carefully, Mike ;)

And since you DO have a 5.O., you vvould do vvell not to be TOO detailed about the female character. You vvould not vvant your lady to think you are getting it on vvith someone, vvould you?
Flirting is all vvell and good; but personally, I vvould be very careful. You never knovv VVHO may call your bluff! Plus, if things get too hot and heavy vvith the one you flirt vvith, THEN they find out you are attached, you could hurt some feelings--knovv vvhat I mean?

Mike

cut and paste directly from your story
Each thrush was met my her rocking back taking me deep to the hilt each time.

You really do need a better proof reader. ;)

In checking your story, I generated three two views -- one to "save target as" and one to check for a page two. (Which is when I noticed the line I quoted right at the end.)

That's two views without even reading the story, and since I'm going to read it from the saved copy, I probably won't go back and vote on it unless it's either very good, or very bad -- voting is just too much work for stories that don't arouse much feeling one way or another when I read them offline.

I've read parts of it so far, and will finish it tomorrow when I'm not already sleepy.

Quickly though - use your Microsoft Works, do a spell and grammer check before you submit. It's a blessing!! Typos and errors are so easily missed just by glancing over the work.

[One of my first stories, I wasn't careful about making sure I'd changed all of one of my characters names. So there are two places in the story that have another womans name in it. (damn damn damn)]

Also it really does help to add a quick note to the end of a story to encourage viewer feedback. It does make a difference!

I love getting emails from the readers. And you might want to be prepared for some to be kinda "chatty" and even some that might want more of a *friendship* relationship. - ie asking to be added to a msgr. - or even asking you to read erotica that they, themselves, have written. This all took me by complete surprise
