My favorite author has disappeared!

I'm upset! My favorite author (new forester or maybe new_forester) is completely gone from the site along with all the stories I loved, re-read often and kept in my personal "works every time" file (which only exists in my head, unfortunately.) What happened? Does anyone here have an answer for me?

He left, his prerogative. Should have cut and pasted them into a text file, then you would have had them for ever!

Have no idea what happened to the author. Often this pattern (taking the stories down) means they've been sold with the stipulation that they be erased from free files--and that you might encounter the work in the published e-book field.

I never heard of a New Forester. What were the names of some of their stories and categories?

Hit the Wayback Machine Internet Archive. It's a horrible slap in the face for people who think that anything they post on the internet can then be removed from the internet. Once published, always published. Fact of life people, get over it.

You do have to know exactly what you're looking for, tho'. So it's not like it's actually easy to get to.
