And one came home with a cast on her leg.

This morning we were dropping the girls off at the Vets for their monthly bath and advantage treatments..

Samantha.. being the hyper active little twirp that she is.. decided to jump out of the pickup before the tailgait was all the way down. Needless to say.. her front right paw got caught in between the tailgait and the bed of the truck. Her yelping was ear piercing.. but she didn't limp or act like it even happened once we freed her from her trap.

Sara needed a couple of shots.. so while I was talking to the vet about Saras shots.. I mentioned that Sam had got her foot caught. If she acted like it hurt.. would he check her out? He said sure.

I got a call about an hour ago that they were ready to come home.. I got there and Sam had a cast. I said.. oh I see she complained. The vet said she had fractured a foot bone.. and would need to stay in the cast about a week.

So.. $358 later.. The dogs are home.. clean and pretty smelling.

Oh.. and they have pretty pink toenails too. But the bows they had in didn't last I guess.. because the vets assistant handed them to me when I picked up the girls.. they were so chewed up I had to ask what they were. Why they attempted to put bows in their hair.. I'll never understand.

Samantha is to much of a "tomboy" to have pink toenails..She isn't impressed at all.

freaky, between your dishwashing thread and this one, and all the humor you share with us, I just want you to know that you brighten this place up in a very big way.

speaking of dishwashers.. I'm thinking of getting the old one fixed.. or maybe buying a new one.

But I looked at washing machines instead (mine is about 10 years old and still works) and Sears has a really cool one.. front loader.. uses less water.. spins clothing at 1200 RPM.. I creamed my panties.. So now I have a new problem..

buy a dishwasher (which I really don't need because I don't mind doing dishes by hand) or a washing machine (which I don't need either.. but want really bad)?

I'm rambling aren't I? ;)

Thank you for your kind words. :)

They are spa for DOGS ?
I am jealous.

It's the vets office.. but we don't tell them that. They wouldn't go. And they don't realize that it's the vets until after we get there. And by the next month.. they have forgotten.. LOL

:D

I'd go with the washing machine, but then, I have a thing for doing laundry, and I have a killer washer.
Look at it this way, if its ten years old, it makes sense to go ahead and replace it before you HAVE to replace it. The dishes will get done eventually...(I'm a soaker, too.) :)

I forgot to mention.. I'd need a new dryer too. (can't have a mismatched set, right?)

Oh.. the price on the washer.. is $1299.99 (on sale ) and the dryer is $799.99.

I think I might just go with the dishwasher.. and continue to dream of the washing machine.
