relocating some of my bigger folders to my D drive ( a 20 Gig disc drive) without screwing things up in my own inimmitable way?

Cut and paste your data (not program files) from C: to D:.

Will that work with Pic files and vid files Heavy? In XP Pro which I am running there is an option to Move File but I'm worried that shunting them onto a different drive may screw them up or make them unavailable.

I always just get a new computer when that happens.

LOL, it's only happened once. And the puter was outdated at that point anyways.

Wolfie, just send it to Draco. He can move it, and get copies of all your porn. Then he can send it to me, since I'm needing to restock MY porn folder.

:)

LMAO... I know what you mean. I have this huge racing machine now (thanks to Draco) and have no bloody idea how to run it. It's a damned good system... faster by far than my old beast. So fast in fact that I've put red racing stripes down the sides.;) :D

Now if I could just figure out this hard drive thing I'd be cool.

Dammit... and so is my slip. Hi sweet lady. Hows life?

I noticed you had your pink ruffled BUTCH pants on.

They look so nice on you, that new lace is really classy.

Life is hectic.......competition is next weekend.

It should work fine with data only files such as JPEGs, MPEGs, GIFs and MP3s. The only possible problem is that if you use recent file lists (lists of files you recently opened with that program) in programs, the programs won't see them where they used to be - you will just have to open from scratch.

Yeah what he said.

My shorter answer would have been. "Yes it's ok."

LOL.. the ruffles are a bit scratchy though. What comp are we talking about here? And how did your race go?

The race went great, did three heats, topped out at 170, won all three.

Martial arts competition this coming weekend. This little fella is tickled that he gets to hit and kick as hard as he can and mom is saying "kick, kick, keep your hands up, kick, hands up, kick" He thinks thats cool.

You need to take off the linen butch pants with the stiffer lace and put on the silk pair with the hand tatted lace, they are much sexier.

LOL... thanks for the assist man. I'm trying it through the move folders option. *fingers and toes crossed*

If you're using WinDoze ... just drag the folder from C: to D: ... then go do something else because it's going to take awhile. Just to be on the safe side, I'd copy it to the D: drive, and then if all goes well delete it from C:. This will take longer than simply moving it, but it's a little safer.

Many thanks STG... I'll find out in about 5 minutes if it was successful. Any luck so far with the job hunt?

Good on ya! Are both you and the munchkin doing the martial Arts? Kids love that stuff don't they, and it gives them awesome self confidence.

Can't wear the silk ones ... they're in the wash.:D

Cheers man... I'm onto it and will know in about 5 minutes if it has been a success or a failure. Damn I hate being computer illiterate. :D

Just him doing the martial arts, mom is a bit short on time. I can see a big difference in him since he began, he's really enjoying it.

Since the silk is in the wash you will have to suffer through the linen ones unless you still have that ragged pink denim pair.
