1) we can't find an alternative for petroleum...the entire 1st world runs on it. Modern medicine, plastic everything, etc. etc. either we keep doing those things or we go back to pre-industrialization. 1700's living!! So working with oil has to continue to some extent.

2) We have an alternative energy method that's available now, makes sense and would dramatically reduce carbon emissions as well .....nuclear. But Dem interests are solar/wind because that's where they get to suck up tons of money for bullshit that doesn't work. Water is out because they don't own that and can't control the oceans like they can land.

3)Even if we the USA somehow MICIRCLED itself to zero carbon emissions by some divine magics.....India and China alone are still doing most of the polluting. Until they get on bord...castrating ourselves to "save the planet" is really just short sighted, self destructive, virtue signaling.
