I am going to be downloading music tonight give me some suggestions.

The only thing I don't want is heavy metal/death rock/et al.

I like music that has a decent style to and the lyric are semiclear enough to hear.

Any Genre.

go for it

How about Sublime, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Cake, Save Ferris, for starters...

Cake is pretty mellow- I love them. :)

any particular song?

I am going to pick one from each group, unless you have a particular song i should grab or try to grab I only have a 36.6k modem so i am trying for as much over night variety as possible.

Ok- Sublime- "Santeria"
Big bad Voodoo Daddy- "I Wanna be Like You"
Save Ferris- "For You"
Cake- "Let Me Go", "Sheep Go to Heaven" or just about anything by them is great

My favorite band, Alkaline Trio, If you can find em' that is. But you have to like whinny, nerdy punk you can dance to or you wont really like them.

wow Todd. I bet with that slow of a modem, downloading music must be a bitch. I have a hell of a time with my 56K modem (if that is what i'm forced into using). My DSL kicks ass at downloading music. You must have the patience of a saint :)

Where do you go to download music?

Try this instead:

Roja

1947 Earth

Bombay

I've taken to using Morpheus. These sites are streaming audio only, I don't know where else you might find Hindi music. But these are ver good...

Actually I got the others to work, though it will take a little play time to download the music instead of listen streaming{its hard to stream on a 36.6k dial up ;)} but i earned a secret to download them though so its all good.

That other song i downloaded for you the day you took to ignoring me ;) was pretty fun, I didn't have a clue what the words word {could of been "we all gonna kill todd forgrave" ;)} but it still was cool

The one from the other day is about getting married and going to your husband's house. So is Kehna Hi Kya, from Bombay. The diff? The first is happy the second kind of melancholy.:)
