What would it be like if the Bulletin Board had music?
What would it be like if every time you opened a post, the posters theme blasted at you from the computer’s speakers?
More importantly, what would the themes be?
(Note: You can blame this on a long airline trip)

DCL
Choice between There’s No Business like Show Business (Ethel Merman) or Superstar (Bette Midler, not Carpenters!)

Marxist
Another choice You Don’t Get Me I’m Part of the Union (Strawbs) or Let the Red Flag Fly Forever (Moscow State Men’s Choir – currently disbanded due to economic reasons)

Blushing Rose
I Never Promised You a Rose Garden (Lyn Andersen)
Can’t you just hear those first lyrics when you opened her posts? I beg your pardon, I never promised you a rose garden, now fuck off! The lady has style.

Fly on the Wall
Human Fly (The Cramps) Obscure 1980 punk classic complete with bzzz bzzz

Rubyfruit
Ruby (Ray Charles) This song was written for her, just listen to the lyrics. The only choice.

Brian4ever thinks "Close enough to perfect" by Alabama should be my theme song.

:D

Laurel
At first thoughts, no music, just SFX, thunder and lightning, perhaps a little echo? But then it occurred to me that Something in the Air (Thunderclap Newman) was a perfect fit. Anyone remember the movie ‘The Magic Christian’?

FoxInSox
Girls Just Wanna have Fun (Cyndi lauper)

PabloBlack
A Little Bit of Luck (Cast recording of ‘My fair Lady’) or Baker Street (Gerry Rafferty)

Siren
Don’t Stop ‘Til You get Enough (Michael Jackson)

Renegade
Girls on Film (Duran Duran) Appropriate for the song and also the band but you have to be totally obsessed with movie trivia to get it.

Mistress
Hit me with your Rhythm Stick (Ian Dury & the Blockheads) No debate, this is it!

Angel
Angel of the Morning (Merrilee Rush

Cheyenne
I Am Woman (Helen Reddy)

Myst
Hanky panky (Madonna)

Lobito
Naked Man (Randy Newman)

Nessus
Fuck, this one is hard as she hardly says anything in her posts but there is that atmosphere. Obvious ones were Milord (Edith Piaf) or Je T’Aime (that Hardy chick) but Im going with Love is Blue (Paul Mauriat & orchestra). Other suggestions welcome
