Dolly Parton has rhinestones on her clothing, enormous hair, wears more make-up in one day than I probably do in a month and yet... she seems like a very genuine person. Not many can pull that off. She's a wonderful and prolific songwriter too.

Sting doing Mack Knife was kind of like a bad acid trip. Was he serious when he recorded that you think or just playing around?

About Sting, who knows? The song itself is very sardonic and playful, which I think is why some people choose to cover it. Others choose it simply because it's well known. :/ Someday I'll post my Dave Van Ronk version here, which is playful and soulful at the same time, I really love it...but I've got to get a handle on rip-tech first.

That's very nice! I googled the title, and they say it's Hot Tuna, but it does sound like The Seldom Scene. Maybe they covered it.

You got it! That site has changed their format. After you get to the page you have to right click the "Download" link and save as to your computer.
