MSN and Other IM Programs.

Chat software?

MSN and AIM are pretty much all I use. AIM has a nasty habit of freezing up when someone else starts a chat, but it is fine when I start it. MSN is kinda slow, but it enables you to use MSN NetMeeting, which is very handy for video-conferencing. There are software solutions which enable you to use one program for several services at once, but I've not tried them myself, and cannot recommend them.

I use ICQ and MSN. I like both alot for differnt reasons.

Hey Jaded. Screw me, and I'll screw you. ;)

I liked MS Messenger on my old PC, but the Mac version I have to use now is missing a lot of the features of the PC version. I can't use emoticons, and I can't send or receive files.

I can't even find a Mac version of ICQ.

I've got...

......AIM, ICQ, and MSN....but I only use MSN and ICQ, I'm using an old version of ICQ so it doesn't have those stupidads on the bottom of the message boxes and it doesn't cut me off unlike my friends. That said I only have a few people on my ICQ list that I talk to, and the same goes with MSN.

I'm too lazy to bother sometimes. But i do talk to peeps. ;)

I have AIM, ICQ, and MSN. For 4 years I swear by ICQ, but getting smarter with computer tech' I have learnt some nasty things. ICQ jams my computer, even after a clean install of Windows. It uses far to much system reasouces, when I last looked, it toke 11%.

AIM is good to, just annoying how, after I connect to the Internet it pops up, damn thing. I can turn it off, but I am to lazy,. lol :)

MSN is great, even though it goes down sometimes, it is the best for me.

And I still say ICQ's no good(had to think of something to say to bring this thread back up for awhile. lol).

MESSENGERS WITHOUT BIKES

I used to use ICQ but I've since switched to MSN. I also use the AOL IM, CompuServe IM, and the paging system on blackplanet.com. But BP is as slow as honey on a winter morning because I have often sent pages and the other person never received them.

i have msn, aim, and aol.... i hate aol (the people that created it should be shot), but i use aim on a daily basis along with msn... as for icq, no one i keep in touch with has it.

That's just nasty! We know Renegade would not stoop that low! Sorry Ravenloft!
