Yes, and gawd, I want to bite that ass in your av.

That was my first reaction to it, too. The av, I mean. Not the dishes. :D

These are mine:

Me too! I have two, plain white, Williams Sonoma, that I love.

Our dishes compliment each other, I'll call U-Haul. ;)

*muah* sweet thing.

I dont like the bowls though....I like, or prefer a bowl with a more straight up and down edge....better for scooping soup and cereal etc.

I like those sets...where can I get them?

The top one is Brasserie by Williams-Sonoma, which you can pick up through their website (www.williams-sonoma.com) or at their stores.

Mine is actually a combination of the above, Christianshavn Blue and Concerto Allegro (below) by Dansk, which you can get through any department store or at a Dansk outlet store.

And Ruby...it's kismet, my little creamsicle of lurve!!

(gah! Sorry it's so big!!!)

By the way if anyone accuses me of being online at 315 am est discussing dishhsets I will vehomently deny it.

I bought some Dansk serving platters and bowls that match my stuff pretty good, but the dansk stuff isnt dishwasher safe for the most part.

I'm such a chick

Thank you Nora.:rose:

You're welcome, hon. =)

I chose the Dansk because it's very durable and they're sort of like grr-animals! for dishware (if you're old enough to remember grr-animals, that is!). All of Dansk's stuff pretty much goes with everything else, so you can mix 'n match, if that's your cuppa. Plus they have way-cool accessories! :D

Here's a price-list from Bed, Bath and Beyond. And as you can see they're clearly marked nukebox, dishwasher and oven safe to 350°. I did buy separate cereal bowls (I think they call them fruit bowls).

The Dansk stuff I bought is like a pottery, and is not dishwasher safe......but anyhoo.

Groovacious. And now I have something to look for while the people of Williams Sonoma try to find a replacement top for one of my few cooking pans. Stupid roomates...

I've had a $40 gift card to W-S burning a hole in my pocket for almost a year. It's hard to spend it, if that makes any sense. I'm always worried that the moment i do, I'll find something i like better! lol

You cook? *heart skips a beat* ;)

:) I am learning to cook. There are many things I still need to learn, though I am getting much better.

As to the gift card, I think I have about four cards to different places that I still have not used. Like you said, I am always thinking that something I will want more is coming soon.

I don't mean to hijack or anything...

I'm a bit concerned about me...when I saw the abreviation 'W-S', I immediately thought 'Williams-Sonoma'...I'll probably spend $3,000 there this year.

That's highly way cool! Feel free to ship me your experiments anytime! *grins*

Oh yeah, and I still have the Pier One gift cards and a Bed, Bath & Beyond one, too. I'm just gonna have to go out some day and blow 'em all in one fell swoop.

I'm kinda tempted to get something uber-frivolous with it, like an asparagus cooker! :D

I think I will work on my skills a bit more and then send you something fabulous. The experiments will go to my goofball roomates and the dog next door.:)

I have pretty much decided to hoard my gift cards till my next birthday and then spoil myself. It'll be fun!

Ooooooh! That's an excellent idea! Hmmmm...I might have to do that, myself. lol I'll probably end up using them on Mother's Day when I realize that I don't have anything for mom. *grins*
