Anybody have any idea how to set up an recurring appointment in outlook that is for "the second Monday of every month".

It's just that easy in Mozilla Sunbird, but we just changed to Smartphones at work and they will only sych with outlook.

Thanks in advance.

Not a clue. I just wanted to give you my sympathies for having to use Outlook. That sucks. :rose:

It's not hard at all...as a disclaimer I'm running Outlook 2007.

Go to set up a new calendar appointment. There is an icon on the toolbar that will say recurrence. It has a little picture like a circle with arrows on it. Then once you are in that screen you would pick the button for "Monthly" then select the option that says "the (second) (Monday) of every (1) month."

Hope I read your question right. Once you get into that recurrence screen I've found that it can customize the recurrence quite well. If you have any other Outlook questions let me know.:)

I just right click on the day of interest and click on 'recurrence'. If you can read, you can figure out how to fine-tune just how recurrent you want to be.

Alright,

So maybe the problem is that I really don't want to use MS products...... I guess that I missed the monthly block in the recurrence tab...

Thanks all
