Movies

I am an absolute incest fiend, when it comes to Literotica, and it is one of my most heartfelt wishes that a mainstream Hollywood movie company would make an erotic film about consensual incest. Really raunchy and sexy, with lots of gratuitous incestuous sex scenes. Maybe Sydney Sweeney plays a young woman having an affair with her father?

Sadly, I just can't see it happening. Hollywood wouldn't be brave enough.

Maybe in the 80s there was a chance, for me the best ones were the ones where it happens out of the blue like in Flowers in the Attic and in The Amytiville Horror 2.

Do you remember the outcry when Mel Gibson made The Passion of The Christ? Lawsuits, churches and religious groups were protesting especially in our bible belt areas. They would melt down over an incest story, possibly getting in front of the Supreme Court.

I can't see the Supreme Court getting involved (even this current Supreme Court). It would be a fictional depiction of incest, not the real thing. But I agree it might be controversial, especially if it's a mainstream movie. Indie films can probably cover this subject matter, but a big-budget Hollywood movie would really struggle.

But once can still dream, surely…

I'm vaguely familiar with Flowers in the Attic, but the incest is a little tame, isn't it? And both adaptations were for TV, weren't they? American television is pretty insipid most of the time, when it comes to sex. I'm looking for really raunchy, full on filmmaking, with bags of explicit nudity. It's just a forlorn dream, it would never get made.

That was sarcasm, poorly done it appears.

Go watch The Color Wheel. It’s not raunchy, or sexy, or full of terribly likeable characters. But I’m recommending it for a reason and I don’t want to say anymore than that.

Am I missing something? what does this thread have anything to do with story feedback??
It's not unusual for threads either not be that germane to the forum or to eventually, or quickly, go off the original topic. Does it disturb you that this happens?

The OP mentioned stories. I think it could be inferred that the OP was saying there are stories here good enough to become movies. That would be favorable story feedback.

Lit Forum Rule 103 - the likelihood of a thread staying on topic is inversely proportional to the number of replies. In this case, the OP did get in an early diversion, but contemplating stories being turned into movies is a form of feedback, sort of. Don't fret, you didn't miss anything.

the op was so short and out of place I thought it was some mod dumping an off topic thread here from somewhere else. it doesn’t “disturb” me seeing someone appreciate lit stories but calling this appreciation post a feedback is a long stretch. this belongs in the AH.

It might have been an inadvertent posting to Feedback. It was also posted to the AH. Maybe the poster just originally posted it to Feedback without the intention to do so. It doesn't seem to be an arms and legs issue.

It wouldn't surprise me if some writer for film or TV would come here not to steal stories, but to get some kind of inspiration.

It’s worth mentioning that one porn actress (at least) took a story from here and filmed it. I’m not sure if the writer was ever acknowledged or paid, but I feel like it’s infamous if you’re in the lesbian incest rabbit hole of Lit.

Identical Triplets by fuzzypen became Sisters in the City with Star Nine, Ela Darling, and Jay Taylor.

I’m torn between loving the idea of Lit getting adapted (even just as straight porn), but hating that it got stolen. It’s really shitty to see that happen to the hardworking authors here.
