Have you watched ''Hard Men'' (1996 British film)? I'm watching on BBC1 right now. I've watched it before but the three main characters are still solid. It's a kinda pre-Lock, Stock but still good.

No, I haven't seen that one. I have seen "Lock, Stock..." The person who recommended it praised it to the moon, so frankly I was a little disappointed in it.

I did like Man Bites Dog, though. Absolutely brilliant dark comedy.

Oh, you should. I'd be interested in what you think of it. It's a 1984-style dark comedy. Probably my favorite all-time flick.

Another dark comedy classic that had 'dog' in the title is "A Boy & His Dog".

Hmm, might put "Man Bites Dog" in the VCR, haven't watched it for awhile. Sick, hilarious movie, more sick than hilarious. Or is it the sickness that's hilarious?
