If there are any movie buffs, please pay attention. I have been trying to find this movie for a long time. It aired on cable a while back and was very good but i never got the title. Was hoping I might get a little input from someone here that might send me in the right direction.
The movie itself looks older. The main actress was no looker but was passable, blonde with kind of squinty eyes. She played a mental patient with no memory. Her doctor, of course, is this cute thing following after her convinced that she needs more help.
Somehow they get together to try to figure out who she is. At some point they meet a wealthy woman who becomes standoffish and skittish during the conversation like she's hiding something. Somehow the legend of Elizabeth Bathory becomes a factor. The doctor is the one who reads about it.
In the near end she remembers who she is, which is Bathory herself and the skittish woman is her daughter. There are more details I am missing and its driving me nuts trying to remember the name but this one was good.
