I ask you after I have been to 'frequently asked questions' to try and research for myself... where do those intriguing ads, usually on the BDSM personals board, Inappropriate though they may be, get moved TO?

vBulletin has the capability of establishing "Hidden Forums" that are only accessible or even visible to administrators or users with special access permissions. I don't know why "shadow threads" are being left behnd, but If I can't access a thread that shows as moved, I figure it's been put in a forum that my accesspermissions don't allow me to even see so the admins can trace the spammer who posted it at their leisure.

Since I am one of the moderators to the Personals, I shall answer. youzme, where a thread gets moved to depends on the content in it. Recently I found many chat threads not even about BDSM in the BDSM Personals. I moved those threads to The Playground. I've even seen threads like "post your picture here" that I moved to the Amateur Pic Board. If a post/thread is spam or seems threatening, it gets moved to the sub folder that only the site owners and moderators can access. When I move a thread to that board, I remove the "redirect link" so there would be no "shadow thread" left in the original board.
