Moved my computer to my office while I get my house squared away

Just scared the shit out of the security guard when he came through.

I'd forgotten to tell him that I would be here late tonight.

Told him about Lit. He says he will look it up when he gets home.

I guess that's one way to get new folks in here

That Damned Cat...

I went back over to my old house today to supervise the disassembly of the main fireplace for transfer to my new home.

When I went up on the porch, The neighbors cat was waiting in ambush.

I reached for the doorknob and the feline fiend came zooming out from behing a planter box and proceeded to climb me like a tree, shredding various parts of my anatomy on the way up.

I knocked it free about the time it reached my chest.

As the cat hit the ground, I took a firm grip on my crutch and did my level best to knock the fuzzy little demon through the goalposts of life.

I missed.

The cat didn't, and sank claws and teeth into my already damaged knee.

Roaring with rage and pain, I reached for the cat, fully intending to send it back to it's origin in West Hell.

I swear the damn thing made a noise that sounded like it was laughing, and dropped off my leg and headed out of there like a furry missile.

I called the cat's owner and threatened horrible fates for the cat if it attacked me again.

The cat's owner said in a shocked voice, "But my sweet little BusterKitty wouldn't hurt a fly."

All in all, not a smooth running day at all.
