"The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return."

Happy New Year

I love that movie. Each time I watch it, I find something more to love about it.

:)

Aren't they?!?! My favorites are the elephant song (think that's what it's called) and the last one that she sings to him as he's leaving the room. Can't remember the name at the moment. lol

Next I want a movie about a red house.....no wait Hendrix did that already....sorry

:D

Love the Movie... Love the music... Nicole Kidman is hot, although she looks like a rabbit at one particular point... and who knew Ewan could hold a note that well.

Fantastic film... one of my all time favorites - and a line I want to live by.

I've got to get this movie on DVD. It's one of my favorites of last year.

The most horrible movie I've ever seen.
Original music? Like hell! Derivative.
Crap. Nothing but crap.

April - I adore you, but you're insane. The way popular music was collaged into the story was brilliant.

Just my heartfelt opinion.

The movie was either nominated for or won Best Original Music. Now, tell me, WHERE was the original music. Hmm?

I'm not insane. I just happen to have strong opinions about movies. As you know. LOL :)

Nope - it was nominated for Sound. Not for original music.

I went to see it by default - the other film that I had wanted to see was sold out, so we decided to give it a shot. Prior to that, I didn't really have any interest in seeing it, but I'm glad I did - I was very impressed and enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. It's never going to be one of my all-time favorites or anything, but it was highly entertaining.

Now, my aunt, whom I love and adore and is one of the people I admire most in the world, and with whom I usually agree on just about everything, HATED it, and left about 30 minutes into it. She said she has this theory that people who are, say, under 45ish are accustomed to taking in visual information in a fundamentally different way than people who are older. We young 'uns are used to MTV-style quick editing and so forth, whereas to an older person (she is 65) it's just loud and obnoxious and annoying. So she just found it unwatchable and an uncomfortable experience.

Fantastic Film!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got The DVD Fer My Birthday:D :D :D

The Narcoleptic Argentinian Is SOOOOOOOOOOOO HOT!

Madonna And Friends Made A Fortune:eek:

When I Own A Club, I'm Gonna Install One Of Those Swings And Do A Number On It EVERY Night! LOL

'Come What May'?

"..never knew I could feel like this, like i've never seen the sky before. Want to vanish inside your kiss..."

Am I the only one who didn't get this movie?

Probably.

First time I watched it I can't say that I loved it the way I do now.

It's been on HBO or some channel on and off for a while now, so each time I see it, it just keeps growing on me. The music was always there... but now I understand and appreciate everything else more too.

Give it another shot. :)

Mmmm, that would be it! lol

I love that song... makes me get teary eyed every time I hear/see it.

I fucking hate musicals....... I loved this one. I thought the first half hour could slip right into Fear and Lothing in Las vegas at any time. HST would have felt at home there :D

Loved ROXANNE

HATED THE END. everyone should leave before Kidman dies.
