Very true. Its the first lesson you learn when they come in for detox. Big boys are pretty clumsy and uncoordinated. I was reading about the man behind this cultural center, and he seems to be a moderate who praises the United States. That being said we can't just disallow someone to build a house of worship, because those who practice the same religion attacked us, and I'm pretty far over on the right on most things, but if we persecute moderates it will only give fuel to the fanatics. Grant you they hate us already, but those who do are not the majority of practicing Muslims. Most live side by side with their Christian neighbors. I don't believe this group building this facility should get any special privileges, but if they get their permits and funding in order, well they should be allowed to build.

What I'm really mad about is the stupid freedom tower. Restore the previous buildings which should have been done years ago! Than build a memorial to those who did, perhaps just slabs (like the Vietnam memorial) with the names of those who perished, and something next to the names of those in uniformed service. Is that so damn hard? Can't stop the terrorist, and can't deal with the wake. What if the same morons had been in charge when the Nazis appeared?



Anyway...finish Ground Zero and stop making a mess of things, and let these people have their cultural center. If terrorists begin recruiting their or money starts being sent to terrorist groups overseas, than you can take action.
