Good morning members of the Board. NYV sunny but pretty cold at 38. Thanks Canada I love the way it gets me moving! Really! And - it was Fall back weekend, Day Light Savings Time (actually spending time right now, to save it during prime farming months) - do any of your other countries do this too? I'm clueless, would figure they would - but then again maybe not.
Hey, cool scoop. I'll begin with a premise - sports writers, especially those who write about baseball, have an unspoken of rule which is - "Don't write (expose) bad personal shit about baseball players because if you do - you won't get any interviews the rest of your career, in fact you won't have a career - it will be over."
So, now that you realize that this fact of course is very true. Let's pretend - let's pretend someone you know, who will remain nameless, was at a cocktail party with a whole bunch of sports writers - and the "very quite" gossip - but it wasn't gossip - it was fact was…………………..
(I really can't mention names here so you might have to put on detective caps - if you care.)
One half of the World Series commentating pair on "the 5th network" -is having a pretty open relationship with the mostly 3rd baseman of the loosing World Series team - AND - they're both married!!!!!!!
One many times Sy Young pitcher - who is known for being a bit wired - is in fact, regularly using a prescribed amphetamine and is a bit of a coffee addict too. About a week ago when he was pitching - he kind of exploded - most of the writers think that the combo of coffee and speed is what helped "throw" him into this tizzy.
So, you got the scoop - have a great morning - Sparky.
