Well, on one hand, my mind went to near the end of the new Anne Rice, in the A.N. Roquelaure series. If you haven't read it yet, I think you'll really like it. Trust you've read the earlier Sleeping Beauty series.

And on the other hand, yes, that's my traveling camera, a great fast Leica lens in a lightweight Panasonic Lumix. Maybe a third the weight of my Nikon DSLR, great for traveling. And at a third of the value, easier to risk in kayak.

You did just fine with the selfie stick. I love outdoor nature pics.

Great, because I've been having the urge to share some of my bird pics. I've been watching an osprey nest.

Oh, I bet you meant outdoor pics with sexiness... Bird pics don't count. But I might post them anyway.

I'm in one of those moods...
The young family left early and only one guest remains. It's a golf day for husband and guest. So I took my new selfie stick out in the kayak. Lesson learned: practice at home to have an idea of tilt and extension settings before setting out in the glare off the water. Still, I had fun. And that guy with the binoculars on his porch probably had fun too ... [I didn't see him until after I'd given up on the stick and gotten to work with the 200 mm zoom].
