You know, if Trump hadn't killed net neutrality as one of his first acts as president, Google would be far easier to dissuade in sertain areas. Trump in killing net neutrality destroyed the idea that the internet served the public interests and must be open to all. So this "problem" is one that Trump himself created.

Now, its biting trump in the ass -- the very thing everyone with any sense of the tech industry warned him would happen. He did it just because Obama was for net neutrality. This was his thinking behind killing the agency that Bush. II had created and Obama buffed up specifically designed to deal with problems like viruses and assorted potential disasters. Obama built on what Bush had done. Trump tore it apart and millions died needlessly when the government was suddenly unable to deal with the covid outbreak. Under either Obama or Bush II the death toll from Covid would have been insignificant. Trump has a solid brass touch!
