Oh to be British!

They just tell us we can't do it and like the British Gentlemen we are, we just accept it :D

Rule Britannia!

Although we live in a democracy, our day to day lives are corporatist.

Our first loyalty is supposed to be to our corporation, that part of the power structure with which we have aligned ourselves.

more and more I am wanting to start my own island nation. It may be a monarchy, but at least I'm a benevolent monarch and the clothing option part of the constitution is just my own love for nakedness.

I believe in the decision by the SC was saying the employee is already protected under Federal and State statutes.

31 U.S.C. Sec. 3730(h) said:
Any employee who is discharged, demoted, suspended, threatened, harassed, or in any other manner discriminated against in the terms and conditions of employment by his or her employer because of lawful acts done by the employee on behalf of his employer or others in furtherance of an action under this section, including investigation for, initiation of, testimony for, or assistance in an action filed or to be filed under this section, shall be entitled to all relief necessary to make the employee whole.

Mm.
I think that in Britain, loyalty is to the nation and the law rather than to a corporation.

Am I reading this corectly?

Sorry kendo.

The facade is loyalty to the nation. The actuality is loyalty to corporation.
