Moon-watching--Very Lunar

I've never been able to see the Man in the Moon. Not once.

I see the Chinese rabbit. How could anybody miss those ears?!

I watched with my wife and kids, sneaking peeks from 8:30 to 10:00 then staying out from 10:00 til about 10:20. then the kids were so tired, I had to take them in.

I did hug my oldest and told him that he could be part of the team that colonizes the moon if he really put himself to it. He just grinned then jumped into bed.

Aw. That's so sweet.

I got lost in the woods on my grandfather's farm one autumn evening. I was young and as it got dark, I became very frightened. When I came into a clearing, I looked up at the bright moon and saw that man. I wasn't so scared anymore. He looked so sleepy and friendly, I knew he'd show me the way home. I made it back to the house before the guys looking for me did. LOL.
