Montana Pub House candidate Greg Gianforte body-slams reporter

You don't have a first amendment right to invade a man's space and jam a mic into his face. Apparently, the people of Montana agree. That's all that matters. The press has to reclaim its manners.:D

Look at Vette pretending not to be Vette around Rob.

Don't fall for it, Rob!

The mannerless reporter probably shouldn't have assaulted the candidate with his microphone.

Please reflect that this kind of post raises doubt as to which side you're on. A liberal might have posted it sarcastically, and you posted it . . . apparently sarcastically, but the underlying non-sarcastic message is a mystery.

Given that there are exactly zero GB conservatives denouncing the belief that it's OK to physically attack your political opponents -- or even a perceived opponent like a reporter -- I think we probably know what side he's on.

It was okay for Democrat supporters to attack Trump supporters and those who support the First Amendment, wasn't it?

The message is simple. The media has to regain their professionalism. Americans are sick and tired of reporters ambushing and violating people's space to jam a mic into somebodies face to ask a question before that person is finished answering the last one. it's rude and unacceptable conduct. I haven't seen the actual encounter and maybe it was a little harsh, but if somebody hit me in the face with a mic I might smack the SOB as well, and maybe you would too, or maybe you'd just say hit me again. Literally, every caller from Montana who called into Limbaugh's show yesterday supported the action, everyone.

Hasn't happened yet, actually; in all physical clashes I've seen so far between Trumpers and antifas, it was the Trumpers who initiated the violence.

This is a gratuitous lie. those fascists vote Democrat and it isn't always Antifas.

First they came for the reporters, and we said "NOT THIS TIME YOU FUCKING FASCISTS"

1) nobody is coming for reporters.

2) even if they were, you wouldn't say shit, especially if it were reporters you didn't like.

3) the fascist have been in your camp since your team lost. :)

Does anyone really give a shit if a reporter gets smacked.:)

Not really but it gives the partisans something to act all indignant about.

So the RWCJ is perfectly OK with the political use of violence again. Funny, because for the last few months we've been hearing the opposite: that violence is all the left's fault and it's really, really terrible:

Isn't team politics great? It's ok for my team but an atrocity when yours does the same fucking thing. ;)

The list of examples on both sides is practical fuckin' endless at this point.

But that's ok...just keep pointing your fingers at the RWCJ bad guys because your team is perfection on earth isn't it?

It's almost as if they never really were opposed to violence per se; just opposed to violence not perpetrated by their friends, and not directed at their political opponents. Who would have guessed?

Sounds just like all the LWCJ idiots who were TOTALLY cool with their team committing acts of violence in an attempt to suppress and intimidate their political opposition.

LOL :)

yep, look at the RWCJ, led by "recovering homosexual" 4est_Gump and "recovering transvestite" Conager cheer on this important defeat of the First Amendment.

Every word of that is utterly preposterous.

I don't do anything of the sort, and never have, but factual accuracy has never been one of your strong points.

America would have been better off if you had died in the sandbox.

Consistantly wrong, WrongElement, who went to great lengths to hahrumphh about how no one on the right has condemned this action, missed Paul Ryan's immediate condemnation.

The victorious candidate, against his better legal interests has publicly admitted wrongdoing and publicly apologized. Something that you never ever see from the left unless and until their indicted convicted going to jail and trying to get a more lenient sentence.
