Montana Pub House candidate Greg Gianforte body-slams reporter

The Fox reporter filing the original story is now recanting her original characterization of events as "embellished."

She was also on stating the people had early vote regret with many wanting to change their vote TO THE REAL MAN!

It is the disconnect of the Left that they know nothing of the lives of people in more rural, rustic settings. You do not send an entitled, self-absorbed, obnoxious snowflake pajama boi into "foreign, enemy" territory without a tutorial on how to treat and respect the local customs and traditions. If someone tells you later, you say, "Yes sir, thank you sir," or you just might become a first-hand witness to a beatdown...

So the RWCJ is perfectly OK with the political use of violence again. Funny, because for the last few months we've been hearing the opposite: that violence is all the left's fault and it's really, really terrible:

In reference to masked anti-Trump protestors:

It's almost as if they never really were opposed to violence per se; just opposed to violence not perpetrated by their friends, and not directed at their political opponents. Who would have guessed?

I sanctioned this? Citation required.

Why are you quoting me at all, when you claim to have me on ignore?

Maybe you'll be able to dine out on this singular example for as long as your side have been saying, "But, but, McVey!!!"

*takes note, in the interest of the truth*

Scanlon’s account is contradicted by audio of the abortive interview recorded by Jacobs, as well as the Fox News account. The audio does not capture Jacobs being asked to leave or lower his recorder, but does contain an apparent reference to the Guardian’s previous attempts to report on Gianforte. “I’m sick and tired of you guys,” Gianforte said. “The last guy who came here did the same thing. Get the hell out of here. Get the hell out of here. The last guy did the same thing. Are you with the Guardian?”

The problem we have here is that every time FOX is mentioned, the KO contingent goes ape shit on their bias, lies and FAKE NEWS...

NOW FOX is a reliable source of information?

;) ;) :snicker:

Around his neck, each side of his neck, makes no difference. The fact is that the reporter was physically assaulted and body slammed for asking a question.

Nope, but what is appalling is the lack of understand and respect of the foreign correspondents who are sent in. They would do their homework on how to behave in any other fucking country, but they expect everyone to behave out here as they do in their bubble of culture.

We consider it a wakeup call as we did the election of Trump, but the Left just keeps hitting the snooze button.

Upon reflection. If WrongElement is opposed, perhaps I should be more open minded to the idea of intimidating the press. I'll give it some more thought.

If the right is to go down that road, (and Trump seems the type, not happy with leaks) wouldn't it be more chilling if you were to get warrants to surveil reporters and intimidate their sources, like the last administration did?

I'm not sure a physical confrontation would do anything more than make martyrs out of bad reporters.

Those that pretend to be offended and appalled buy a minor shoving incident have no problem whatsoever with massive destruction and worse ANTIFA

why

We know why

Watching a montage of the Press is once again illustrative of the press bubble and self-delusion as head after head after head blames the violence on Trump and his attacks on the press.

What they don't get is that that message was accepted and approved of only because those of us who have a different culture and philosophy see a clear bias towards only one side of the issue in just about every issue. Any dissent from the perception of fact on the part of the press is ridiculed and attacked. They do not understand that by picking a team and sticking with it, it is they, not Trump who create the festering anger outside of their elite enclaves and the cities they hold sway over...

;)

... then they forget that when they report on us, that they are outside of their "safe space."

"The Trump-made-this-possible theory may be an open-and-shut case for the likes of Don Lemon, but it suffers from a similar fatal flaw that a lot of the withering obituaries for Fox News impresario Roger Ailes did last week: It gave the guys at the top of the (hated) conservative pyramid far too much credit for inventing and then cynically profiting from a pathology, rather than for recognizing and catering to an underserved market segment. To put it plainer, neither Trump nor Ailes conjured up anti-media sentiment from scratch—they knew that their core audience was routinely ignored or disrespected by the gatekeepers of media and culture and politics, so they presented a conspicuous alternative, one that always gives prominence to an anti-media/elite critique."

*chuckle*

Republican businessman Greg Gianforte is favored to win the special election in Montana to replace Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke, but he made headlines for all the wrong reasons after assaulting a reporter Wednesday night. He has been charged with misdemeanor assault, but that hasn't pushed away online donors. In fact, he has raised over $100,000 in the 24 hours after the assault.

"Source close to Gianforte campaign says have raised over $100k online in last 24hrs w/ very lg majority of $ coming post incident last night," Alex Moe, NBC News Capitol Hill producer, tweeted Thursday night.

Eric Clanton, a former teacher at Diablo Valley College, was arrested by Berkeley police on Wednesday on suspicion of three counts of assault with a deadly weapon identified as a U-lock bike lock, and one of those assaults is alleged to have caused a significant injury.

Police say the violence happened April 15 in Civic Center Park in Berkeley when pro-Trump supporters clashed with self-described anti-fascist, or “antifa,” activists determined to stop a rally where white supremacist views were expected to be expressed.

Why wasn't I bigger news?

Even when debunked...

:(

Amazing. The truth is "Fake News" because it does not adhere to the values and standards of Social Justice.

Are you dipshits really going to even attempt to defend this bullshit? What a bunch of morally bankrupt nincompoops.

The mannerless reporter probably shouldn't have assaulted the candidate with his microphone.

You don't have a first amendment right to invade a man's space and jam a mic into his face. Apparently, the people of Montana agree. That's all that matters. The press has to reclaim its manners.:D

What do you call a person who constantly uses gay slurs and claims to be a liberal?

Anyone?
