Looking for a story I read where the mom doesnt like the sons girlfriend because she dresses too proactively or she's worried the son will get the girlfriend pregnant. So the mom makes a deal with the son that she'll be a standin for the girlfriend as long as the son stays away from the girl

Are you talking about this one A Mother's Worry?

The "have me, not her!" trope is well-loved in Mom-Son fiction, but probably nowhere will you find it better employed than in A Mother's Worry. Goddamn do I ever recommend that piece. It inspired me to try way, way harder with my own work.
