In Dec 01 I broke my right cheekbone. They put in two metal plates in my face. My lower right eyelid, where they did one of the incision, hasn't healed 100% correctly. In fact, it's quite a bit lower than the left and as consequence, my right eye always appears to be more open than the left. Also, I can't squeeze out tears from my right eye.

My doc in MI wants to take skin from my upper left eyelid and graft it into my lower right eyelid. This would cause both eyes to have the same amount of give, since scar tissue in my right eye is preventing it from healing where it should be.

I've got pics from the accident... not pretty. But you really can't tell *too* much now. Except, you'll notice my right cheek is generally more reddish than the other and my smile is slightly crooked (I ripped my lip as well).
