Thanks Mr. You're too sweet The Renaissance Festival is basically a Faire where everything is kinda transported back in time... there are jousts, merchants, and everyone (who works there at least) wear costumes that reflect the day and age of the Renaissance. Patrons are highly encouraged to dress up as well and each weekend has a theme. A lot of people get married there as well. It's really a neat thing... they have them all over the country actually. I did one in Ohio as well...

So...what happened with this Jay? Where is he now?

Well, after we were together a year we broke up. I broke up with him actually... I needed time to learn who I was (without him, even though he helped me get to the point where I could find myself). I just had to see what else was out there and I wasn't ready for so much commitment. We remained friends, though didn't really stay close during that summer. That fall he met this girl Rachel and they actually just broke up this past November. Since they started dating however, he and I made up and became really close friends. We always promised we'd remain friends no matter what.

During my Spring Break this year I finally saw him. We spent time (a lot of time) alone together and it was amazing. I never realized just how much I missed him. We actually hooked up and neither of us regret that at all. It was wonderful to be with him again, and I think it felt even better then before.

However... he's in MI and I'm in VT. We're both incredibly busy and have another year left of school. He's doing an internship this summer for a pre-medschool type program. So who knows.

I don't have expectations that we'll get back together, but the possibility is definately there. We're just taking things a day at a time... if we're meant to be together we will be. There's no use in either of us waiting around for the other at the moment though.
