Moi

ff- I'm happy you're back safely and that you had such a good time! Next time I don't get to go, I'll be pissed though. You don't wanna piss me off. ;) hehe

Vay- I'm disappointed you didn't know about the thread earlier too! :rose: Nice to see you here now though.

And with that, I need to sleep. It's been a very long, energy-zapping day. But surprisingly really good. I'll explain later, but for the first time in my life I am thinking of my future and not being entirely selfish. It's a great feeling.

Bill- hey stranger! Nice to hear from you! Thanks :) How've you been? I'm doing well.

Just trying to get some sun. Doesn't work well in these clothes, although the skirt IS rather short...

Well? No ... you're doing GREAT! Sexy as ever ... love the pics. So when do you go to WV?

New Poems

highlights of yesterday:
*I donated blood

*I realized I want to make a true difference in the world and am definately leaning towards becoming a teacher of cultural studies and languages, and possibly even religious theories.

*life is good, and I've found someone that I've connected so deeply with it scares me, but in a nice way. Unfortunately it's another long distance thang but as he says, it works well for what it is. ;)

Morgan- thanks hun, it took me over an hour just to fall asleep, and then I stayed up way too late after being woken up, but it was all worth it  I definately plan to sleep more tonight!

Bill- end of June I'm going to WV. I might actually be going through Cincy to visit a friend of mine, but chances are her and I will just meet in Sandusky and play at Cedar Point for a day.

These are the rest of the poetry I've written and submitted. "Sex" I actually just wrote yesterday. :) "Silent Tears" was written when I was like 13 (1996, year after my father died) and I actually won Honorable Mention in a poetry contest and was showcased in a poetry anthology. :D

Ok, links to the new poems.

A Daughter's Plea

Life

Love's Promise

Sex

Silent Tears

The End of Love

SOOOO

what woke you up that was worth it. I wonder. Well, I am glad you are doing great. I hope to chat with you soon.

Just some crazy Jew. :cathappy:

I haven't slept in days because when I talk with this guy time just stops. 3 hours feels like 3 minutes, which really sucks when you have to wake up for class in the morning! But at the same time, I'd rather be talking with him than sleeping. When I do get sleep it's because I'm at the point of utter exhaustion rather than because we've run out of things to say to each other.

 I'm so smitten.

UHHH

that is sweet. He is a very lucky guy. by the way is this the old bf or is this someone new. You are smart, sassy, sexy, you have a great smile.

I hope you do not get so smitten you forget about us again.

Chat with you soon sexy.

 :rose:

Re: New Poems

Glad to hear you're smitten ... what a wonderful state of existence!! If you DO go through Cincy, look me up! I'd love a day of play! :)

Sb- thanks. I am keeping my mind somewhat in reality though. No, it's not the old bf- I wised up on that one. This is actually a guy from Lit, and we haven't exactly met face to face yet. I have good feelings about it but I also know there is a chance we'll meet and the sparks won't ignite. If that's the case then I have just made myself one amazing friend (of course I hope that's not the case).

morgan- *hugs* it was an awesome nap. I just got done having dinner, so now I'm rested and fed. :D Feels soooo good.

bill- I'll keep you posted :)

By the way, if anyone has any thoughts about going into education (my degree is NOT in education at the moment) I'd love to hear them, whether here or in PM. I am thinking about going into TEFL courses (teaching english as a foreign language) so I can travel and make money, but if I do teach in the states it'd prolly be HS or college. I am thinking about just getting my PhD in cultural/foreign language studies with possibly some religious philosophy thrown in.

Just follow your heart, because unless you are happy you will never be satisfied in your career or your love life! If everybody followed their gut the world would be a much better place a lot of times.

How fitting! I was *just* telling my friend about the line of a song I was listening to that I really liked (by The Ataris, In This Diary).

The only thing that matters is just following your heart and eventually you'll get it right.

See there must be something to it for you to be getting that sign from more than one source! :D :rose:

I will await your postings. :)

By the way, I have given serious thought to education as a career myself -- would be a big career change for me, and a huge trade off -- giving up $ for something that would make me want to get up and go to work every day filled with passion instead of dread. I'd be happy to talk to you about it.

Yea, my personal views: go for, if it doesn't kill you, it'll make you stronger....kinda why I'm a rugger :p lol

bill- we should definately find time to chat about it! I think before I really get into going to grad school for PhD and whatnot, I'd rather get my feet wet teaching ESL and travelling through that. Mmmm....travelling....

morgan- ruggers are the best! :rose: thanks for all your support by the way sweetie. And at the very least, we should rent a movie sometime. :D

ff- I agree. I'm really excited about all this! :)

ok, so update:
I'm going to have a *VERY* special visitor for a week and I'm sure you can guess who it's gonna be. :cathappy:

It's sunny today; I can ride my bike!

I wrote *another* poem yesterday and submitted it.
The Moment

So it occured to me that I don't think I shared any of my pics from my trip to Europe last summer (Hawaii either, but I don't have those on CD so suffer!).

Thought I might.

This is from when I took a weekend to go visit a friend in Barcelona and ended up becoming Malibu Barbie. I'm still recovering...
