The early show has four little model like women talking about the imperfect woman world?!? They are saying it is okay to be ugly, fat?

Now, I really get the point. It is okay to be fat if model women talk about it? Why not get some REAL women to come on the show?

not really sure what you meant by their attitude, were they being sarcastic or just showing a concern that lacked believability?

those morning shows always havea a variety of people talking about health, weight and body images from fitness buffs, physicians, health nuts (including whako dr atkins), people from the clothing world, everyone.

I dont think the models really know much outside of their bulemia enforced little world...and that is what they should be focusing on in the show. But we've all seen that a million times.

What they should really do is take them out for a suprise breakfast at Denny's and have the bathrooms locked up.

I once watched a fashion TV show that had beauty tips from famous models on it. In this episode, there was a very attractive Dutch model who was giving advice on what to do if you get overheated during a workout. It went something like this:

Interviewer: I always get so overheated and my skin flushes red. What should I do?

Model: Here is what I do. You just splash some water on your face and neck and that really helps a lot. Sometimes resting helps too, or putting on cooler clothing.

Interviewer: Wow, ok, I never thought of that...ok...

I was stunned silent. Do not take seriously ANYTHING said by fashion models or anyone entertaining their thought process.

I like it.......take 'em out to the Waffle House even, feed 'em a big meal and then don't let 'em barf it back up....yeah, that's the ticket!

As for skinny women, someone else can have 'em! Yet, for me, I'll take a woman that is naturally beautiful over these skinny-assed, overly made up anorexic chickees anyday!

Unfortunately these skinny women have lots of problems, from eating disorders to drug addictions. Sometimes the self fulfilling prophecy of their own doom is imminent. Some have lived a lifetime of pain...prbably most have been the ugly skinny duckling most of their life and this is the one place that they can fit in.

I think they can be beautiful if you can find out who they really are. Its not them themselves that can make them seem ugly and unfeeling...its our society. I don't blame them. I would gladly love to get to know one as I would a bar stripper (I knew a few) or a Mom (I know one in particular).

Models are the butt of many jokes...even from myself. But Ill bet theyre really not that different from you or I
