not sure how many PM's you rec'd... I guess I like the thought of a pub with a patio ... if anyone cares to make a suggestion.... I don't get out to too many... a few in St. Paul but I imagine somewhere in Minneapolis is going to be better suited to others...
Of course there will always be conflicts & such, it is the nature of the beast of trying to coordinate a gathering.
again just my .02
anyone else with a suggestion?

No matter what you think of German food, this patio is a cool, romantic oasis in the middle of a hot town. Sure it's a beer garden, but who can sneer at a lovely brushed-steel sculpture and waterfall in the shelter of twining grapevines? If you've been married (or divorced) long enough to remember your very first date here, rest assured, not much has changed: It's the same creamy pilsner, the same homemade bratwurst (owner Erich Christ's childhood recipe), the same caraway-studded kraut and snappy braised red cabbage, and the same summer evenings fading to indigo night. Raise a glass to love, flaky strudel, and blessed Old Europe.

What do you think? The CityPages link is http://citypages.com/bestof2003/restaurants/bestof2022.asp
I'll keep looking, but personally, I've always wanted to check this place out. German Major and all. *dorky smile* But I'll keep looking.![]()
