My daughter and I are making cookies this evening, gingerbread men to be exact. They get frosted but we have never bothered to decorate them because they don't usually last all that long.

I like to decapitate them and then go for the limbs, then the body.

So lets hear it.... what is your favorite cookie??

White Chocolate Macadamia Nut - still hot and fresh from the oven.

*drools a little*

Peanut Butter cookies run a close 2nd.

Almost anything made by Sophie!

The other day though, I committed cookie infidelity, and got some raspberry thumbprints at a bake sale. Yummm...

Hey Soph - Any chance you'd take a shot at thumbprints?

I likeplain old chocolate chip quite a bit (when fresh and soft), but my sister's snickerdoodles might just be the besterestest things ever. They are so tasty, I have eated entire batches in one go. Mmm...

Ohh - and those chocolate oatmeal cookies that you bake on the stove and then put on wax paper to harden. Man - those are good, too. I usually don't have the patience to wait for them to get hard and just dig in anyway.

Yummmy! :D

snickerdoodles with peanut butter running a VERY close second...

You mean you don't even put in raisins for the eyes?

I like to bake my own, such as Nestle Toll House or Oatmeal chocolate chip. Or peanie butter.

Chocolate chip cookies have always been my favorite, especially with the M&M's in them. Keebler's EL Fudge and Rainbow Chips are uber-delicious. But my favorite cookies were Chocolate Dino Grahams (Huge cookies that were shaped like dinosaurs that no longer exist), and Chocolate Super Mario Bros. 3 cookies (that also no longer exist).

I have a really good gingerbread recipe that i pull out every December for the church fair, I make around 100 snowmen then the children decorate them with sweets and then usually devour them on the spot. They're lovely and soft and gingery -yum.

I don't think I have an out and out favourite though i do like the chocolate oat and cinnamon cookies we sometimes make...and shortbread and delicate lemon cookies and snickerdoodles (thanks recidiva) and chocolate chip cookies and the list goes on.

Home made biscuits are definitely the best, though I am partial to a pink wafer or a custard cream now and then!

Home made any kind of baked things are better, especially when they are still warm from the oven. :D

Maybe. If you're nice.
