Toaster grilled cheese? That's an outrage!

I heat up a pan, put one side of buttered bread down, then the cheese and top with another slice of butter bread (butter on the outside). Grill both sides to golden-brown perfection, slowly enough to allow the cheese to become a gooey, yummy mess inside.

Sometimes I'm in the mood for that processed taste only American cheese can give me, other times, it's sharp white cheddar and vine-ripened tomatoes.

Try a light spread of Vegemite under the cheese before you grill. You'd be surprised by how god it is.

Just make sure it's light.
