The action-oriented remake flopped, but the original still rocks. Well, the past era Best Picture wins tend to do that. An classic Easter staple, but I'd still re-watch it for the chariot race scenes alone.

I prefer The Ten Commandments myself which is also an Easter staple for reasons that I will never understand.
Hur is good tho, no question. But man it's hard to beat the dialogue in Ten. Classic stuff.
