Miscategorized?

Hey all,

I just posted my second story to Literotica. My first, posted in the gay male section, was very well recieved. I've recieved very positive comments and high ratings.
My newest, though, has not fared so well. In fact, I've been slammed by people saying it is in the wrong category. You see, the story is posted in the Group Sex category, which I figured was appropriate since the subject of the story is a threesome. However, it is a MMF threesome, and the two men do have sex with each other. I am being told by several people that the story belongs in the gay male section.
So, my question, or rather questions, are as follows:
1. How do I go about having my story re-assigned to a different category?
2. Does this also mean that any stories I write in the future with a MFF threesome should be posted to the lesbian section?
3. Is there maybe a bisexual section that I have completely overlooked somehow?

I don't know about needing to put FFM in the lesbian category, but anything MM definitely will be razzed here when put anywhere except GM. (Many male readers who blast MM, are aroused by FFM, I think).

There is no bi section here accepted as such by readers (unfortunately). There are multiple straight categories, but no bi and only one GM and lesbian each.

Well, group sex is for the most part, a widely accepted genre. Most people don't mind group sex when it's thrown into a different category. Since man on man sex is still a bit taboo to some people and it's more of an acquired taste, so to speak, your story would have been better accepted into to gay male category. Despite the female that is also there. You'd be ok where you're at if the two men didn't have sex with eachother. Hope that helps!

As everyone else has said, anything with MM is going to get taken apart on most of the site. I should imagine that having a female involved is going to get you taken to task in the GM section, though. Maybe it would depend upon how much she is involved? Can't say, as this is a category I haven't explored much, or written in yet.

I think such a story is in the right category in group sex. Perhaps a warning of the MM content at the beginning, to steer away those who would otherwise feel mislead upon encountering it.

Without any real options for Bi-Male stories, you're stuck with one bad option or another.

I don't think MMF is all that comfortable in GM here, either. But rather than deciding to put it in Group Sex, I've pretty much discovered that you don't submit it to Lit. at all. As I said, the categories here for anything but straight are miniscule, and MMF just doesn't fit.

Won't argue the point further. But with over 300 stories covering the possibilities here, I think I have a pretty good feel for what starts off behind the eight ball here on anything but straight. I don't expect MMF stories to be accepted in any of the categories here.

Thank you all for your feedback. I decided to go ahead and resubmit the story under Gay Male. If nothing else, I'll avoid the really hateful, homophobic comments I've been recieving.
