So, you going looking on a page for something you posted. You use the find function to search a long llist of posts. And it picks up your name from the top tab. That means EVERY page will show a positive result that has to be checked out.

That search function is built into the browser and it will pick up any string that matches, including your name at the top of the page. What do you want it to do?

I'm well aware of the why of it. I wondered if Manu could code it out. It's just annoying. If I'm looking for my posts, I get a positive result on EVERY page. I don't recall it being that way. But then I haven't been spending as much time here as I used to.

He would have to remove the name at the top but that's built into the core forum code. If you know you'll always get a hit in the banner, can't you just skip over the pages that return a single result?

Tap the drop-down arrow next to Forums in the top bar and select Threads with your posts. You'll only see threads where you posted and therefore will not have to search for your username.
