Mind Control Stories?

(Staring at SelenaKittyn's Avitar while rubbing herself :p)

"Okay, suppose you had a gay best friend. You like to shop together, watch Lifetime, he does your hair for free, he'll scout out Nordstrom Rack and knows when they put the shoes out, he's perfect for taking out to social functions, always knows the right thing to say that makes you look good to your peers, and all your girlfriends think he's completely hot. Plus, he loves to eat pussy, and he's really great at it, and up for it anytime. And when you're in the mood, he has a hot friend who'll come over and do all those nasty MMF things that you think about sometimes."

I think you lost me. "He" is my best friend. "He" is gay. But "He" likes to eat pussy? Ok... I suppose that is, fictionally speaking, possible. But what's that got to do with Mind Control?

I think readers want the person to beable to overcome something. . . a weakness, a fear, something holding them back from becoming more sexually satisfied. I've only written one, it gets average feedback. Helpful Whispers isn't my finest or my worse, but it was what I came up with as I wrote.

I'm reminded of A Very Fine Mind by your story.

I think the idea is, if you could use mind control on him, the fact that he was gay would no longer prevent him from wanting to eat pussy if you wanted him to.

And the best part? Since he's gay, he won't cheat on you with another woman! :nana:

why do people write/read MC?

I think the whole thing, for a lot of people, is the fantasy of "true control."
This is slightly different from the "unconfrontational non-consent," at least a bit. If we're keeping track, much of MC is even darker than the core issues at work in NC. Because, while MC *does* circumvent consent, and often even uses similar coersion methods (to "reluctant" stories, particularly), the kick for the fantasist is in being able to literally CHANGE a person. At least, that's the case for a lot of the sociopathic subgenre, the most widely read contingent of MC on this site and a few others I follow.

FWIW.

Ya know, there's a story out there somewhere where two characters ask a hypnotist to change their orientation as they know they'd make perfect partners if not for the issue of sex. If only I could recall the title. Ah well.

If you're wanting more info on the mind control fetish, and what the appeal to people is, check out this site. Lots of info on the sexual nature of hypnosis and all, and why Mind Control has such an appeal! Also a couple other, related fetishes, if you're interested.

my guess is a non-violent and/or non-confrontational version of non-consent.

You got it, but I think it's more of a power trip, you know, rape that's not rape.
In any case, for me, that's only stimulating (if sexual, arousing) if it's fictional, otherwise it's plain immoral, and possibly illegal (thinking of Exctasy).

Think you for reshashing this old post. i'm jamming on chapter 3 of my sexual prisoner series. Total mind control saga.

I guess I just needed a sign.
