Mind Boggling

I am intrigued, bemused, approving, and dismissive; all at once.

Pretty much my response! And there are women who actually live their lives like that

I wonder what they'd make of me?

If there are people who believe themselves to be vampires and sleep in coffins, I see no reason why there can't be women like that.

I'll admit I like the general idea and I have a certain fondness for its Monarchism, but it falls apart in execution.

The concept of "blondes" and "brunettes" is idiotic and borderline offensive though, I must say. It's a transparent derivation of classic masculine-feminine gender roles renamed and transposed onto an all-female group; which offends me greatly (a pet peeve of mine).

Their understanding of history leaves something to be desired as well and their "language" bears a certain Elvish quality (could it be, influenced by a man?)

Really, as I was reading it I started to think about how I could make something so much better.

Aaland's lawyers will be in touch...

Other than that, I'm not sure what they're on about. Is this another one of those fictive sovereignitys that seems to emerge every now and then? They seems to have the usual blend of interresting, amiable, despicable and strange ideals as their base. I find the whole idea a bit sad. A tinkerbox for people who don't want to deal with the real world.

Yes, it seems to be one of those imaginary states that find their way onto the internet -- it has a certain role-playing quality to it. There are hundreds of them.

You're right, equinoxe. I'm just a smalltown girl and I still get the  response when I see punks in the street. This was definitely a    though!

Totally agree. I also have a problem with thanking some random woman for spanking your butt in the street when you've just burped by accident, or not combed your hair properly. Definitely a masculine-feminine world.

Well... you've got to give it to them - they've got a good eye for colour. That's a very pretty flag, Liar. Is that where you come from?

And still you're the one flaunting your welsh tagged behind on an internet smut writing forum. :)

Not too far away. 130 miles north-east from where I sit.

No doubt one boards an Aristasian Imperial Railways train from Kings Cross platform three and six ninths.

Lol! I don't know, though... it doesn't seem to be so sexual. Fetishist, yes... but somehow without being sexual...

I do understand; yes, people are strange, people are very strange -- and the internet is both wonderful and frightening for that. It depends in part upon how one is feeling about humanity already.

Yes, that's just weird and demeaning.

It's got a strange brand of Victorian roles with a raunchy, almost BDSM quality to it.

Of course, you can never escape the world you're born into, even when you consciously try, the world you create is shaped by the world which shaped you, even the world you are rebelling from.

Really? Wow! Tell me if you ever set it up! :rose:

Hehe, I'll keep that in mind. It seems unlikely though. ;)
