Has anyone joined the 'Mile High' club?

From what I've heard, it's very over rated as far as a sexual experience goes, but I think it's on most people's 'to do' lists!

My girl and I are off on a holiday in the next few weeks and would like to try it. The only problem is that it's just a three hour flight that takes off in the morning, so the odds of being busted are extremely high!

Any tips or thoughts from people who have been there and done that?

On a private plane? Sure, why not?

In a basically coffin-sized commercial jet's lavatory, poised above a sucking toilet, surrounded by a bunch of people who are often cranky and eager to be "heroes" when other passengers might be falling out of line? Absolutely not.

I mean, even if that excuse for a bathroom was actually big enough to have any fun in, I'm totally seeing one of those "We're looking at live pictures of a plane that's being met by law enforcement after a passenger became unruly in the air and had to be restrained by the passengers and flight crew" stories on the news. That's really not sexy or a good way to start a trip, either!

Then again, if you have a sucking toilet, small space or legal trouble fetish, this is probably a dream scenario for you!

A few years ago you might have got away with a quickie. In these times of heightened security, you'll both get hauled out the door at the first sign of delay or odd noise.

Yep, but I chose to just have sex in a hotel in south Denver. Denver is, after all, the 'mile high city'.

And the air just as thin and dry in Denver as what you'd find on a plane, without getting arrested (usually).

Given that you are taking a morning flight, its not worth the effort to try and pull it off. You might be able to pull it off on a red eye flight, but I seriously doubt you will go unnoticed on a morning flight. Does anyone know what the penalty is for getting caught joining the mile high club? I doubt your fellow passengers would have any tolerance for this potential dalliance.

On a commercial airliner, in the coffin sized toilets, it is a poor experience unless you've got public sex fetish. If you want that kind of experience without gaining a federal rap for violating FAA regulations, sneak into the local school and have sex in some students locker or the janitor's closet.

If you really want to join the Mile High Club, a couple of years ago, there was a small charter airline in Florida that specialized in providing a safe and legal way to join the Mile High Club -- they may still be in business or they may not.

Besides what they said, it's not possible to join the mile high club and not have anyone awake know it. The flight attendants will sometimes let it go, generally when it's a flight to europe and literally everyone but the one attendant are asleep. Any other time, they will report it to the authorities and file a complaint.

There is a reason they always know, the walls in an airplane are paper thin sound speaking, on the ground someone inside sneezes the repair crew outside, hears it. Watch them taking apart an airplane sometime, there is sound supressor foam in the fuselage, everywhere else it's simply tin.
