someone sent me a couple of pics that they wanted edited down to a size that they could post... maybe here, maybe not. the only program I have that can edit pics is microsoft paint. I am by no means a computer whiz, but I've managed to do it in the past.
the problem in this case, however, is that after shrinking the picutre down, I can't get rid of the standard paint format stuff. for exanple, there is a big gray box that fills the right half of the window as well as a bit of a white border and a huge white border at the bottom where I made the pic smaller. when I save it as a jpg., the gray isn't visible, but the white borders are. I thought that the last time I did this I managed to get rid of that stuff, but for the life of me I can't remember how.
can anyone help? and remember, the easier theb terminology you use, the better. thank you in advance.
