I'm not in Michigan, but. . .

Does your divorce/dissolution decree say anything about how you should go about claiming the kids when you do your taxes? My ex and I had this spelled out in our agreement. I get to claim the kids; either my ex didn't notice this or he decided that it wasn't worth fighting over.

Frankly, if I were the custodial parent, I'd be kinda pissed if I didn't get to claim my kids.

If she's not allowing you to see your kids when you have court-ordered visitation, then she's in contempt. Talk to an attorney.

its stated that thid order is in effect on jan 20th 2006 anything before that date is released on her part i didnt actuall get to claim them fully if i did some thing wrong on them then the irs wouldnt have let me do them online oh yeah she still gets to claim head of house hold to

Contact your lawyer to get a clear answer. Like Eilan, I had it stipulated that I would claim the deduction.

yeah she gets to claim them anything after jan 20th but if she dosnt show up in the morning like she is suppose to she will go to jail she knows that she was told that if she refuse the kids to me i have the legal right o call the cops i dont want to but sh ill not get to me no more

i will damn i just reread my reply and i cant type for crap
