I know you're a die-hard Detroit fan, Brat, but I grew up in N. Indiana and had season tickets to Soldier Field... The Bears are my team. Always were, always will be.

This is what happens when you live on the OTHER side of Lake Huron....damn lake effect snow!! My backyard as of 3 pm this afternoon. Definitely at least 6 inches when I cleaned my car off this morning. FFS!!!

Had the same problem when I lived on Michigan's West Coast...lake effect snow off Lake Michigan would bury us. Of course, if you lived on this side of the lake, you wouldn't have that problem.

Marquette has 2 inches Saturday morning. We're heading up in a few weeks. Could be some fun 4-wheeling

Winter is officially here, by my benchmark.
I had to scrape my windshield this morning for the first time.
 
Well! It was nice to have a home team foosball win. Plenty excitement,though it was odd "watching" via a live (slo-moving-zombie-live) twitter! sheesh! I don't have ESPN and was not set up for radio as I was handing out candy. The "official" UM twitter is painfully slow and (pardon the expression) spartan in content. A close game can be fun....when one wins in the end. A bit of luck and a bit of skill/determination.

As for Halloween — bummer that there was rain. we had nearly 200 trick-or-treaters, but significantly less than previous years.

Lots of (too much) left over, that woman is annoyed (surprise!).cuz she might eat it, and that I spent the money.:rolleyes:

I've hidden it now :D She'll be annoyed by that too :rolleyes:

Sadly, I cannot dispose of it the proper way (EATING), yet, becaus eI have a colonoscopy tomorrow. bleh.
 
Gorgeous day today. Crisp, clear, sunny...

Not too many trick-or-treaters last night, maybe 50 or so. Down from years previous.
I usually dress up for answering the door, but didn't feel like it this year.

Hope every has a great Dia de Muerta. :)

That would be nice under DIFFERENT circumstances.
for this I will be out for the bulk of the time AND that woman will be around... so if I am loopy (and I will be) afterwards and say something to a "hot nurse", I will be in more trouble than I usually am (for no actual infraction).:rolleyes:

After my last colonoscopy, when I came out in recovery I asked if they found it.
The nurse (male, alas!) asked, "Found what?"
I said, "My head. My wife insists it's up there."
She was in the room at the time...not amused.

Be strong. It only lasts for a little while. The worst part is the "cleansing" beforehand.
The day of? Piece of cake. Walk in the park.
Unless they find the Kraken, then all bets are off! :eek:
