It had been... time. Time.

Quite some long time since he had been called upon the land. Eons had him being kept around the Endless Void; wandering the Abyss with such a complete sense of emptyness and boredom that the mighty entity could barely start to take form once more. He had almost forgotten it.

But still, there were things he managed to remember. The sweet, soft touch of sensuality. The tastes of love and lust; of fat and salt. The noises of fine songs... the touch... the taste.... the noise. All lost. Almost forgotten since the last time a foolish mortal had unleashed him through the land.

It had been most marvellous. The proud, haughty woman that had brought him, a Master of the Arts Forbidden, Akradrag himself, and tried to bind him to her service. Foolish witch, a woman that had never deserved his gaze; died after days of merciless pounding, her insides completely trashed and messed around his girth into a pool of gore.

His name, finally forgotten, had allowed him peace. But peace also begets boredom...

Anya Becker flipped through her father's books, looking for nothing in particular. Well, they were her books now. Her parents had left her everything in their private study, not to mention the house and a small fortune. The young mage closed the book and placed it neatly in the 'keep' pile. So far, all of the books she had looked through were in the keep pile. Anya couldn't bring herself to get rid of any; if her father thought they were important enough to keep, then so did Anya.

The brown-haired, athletic young woman moved onto the next book, a surge of power running up her arm. This was normal for most magic books, but this sort of power felt strange and almost evil. What was her father doing with a book like this? Curious yet cautious, she opened the book. She had no idea that just opening the book would unleash a magic so potet that it would cause her to lose her breath. She dropped the book and fell to the floor, creating a shield around herself and covering her eyes.

((My thought was that he comes out of the book.))

((Good introduction for the action!))

As the book hit the floor, the noise of a thunder filled the room. A strange, strong smell of ozone and sulfur filled the woman's nostrils as a thick cloud of smoke suddenly arose from the book's pages - the ancient paper crumbling, it's red letters marked in a fluid Anya would only identify as human blood. The smoke stood tall and broad, completely filling the room as it spread from the book, pouring over the whole library as if a fire had been set to it's pages.

A form finally started to rise from it's midst. A creature whose features could not be discerned, except for a couple of wicked, fiery eyes. The whole room turned to feel about the most complete evil. The creature's form finally started to look vaguely humanoid as it stood afloat over the book it had been summoned from. A resounding, powerful bass voice echoed as if through the most ancient recess of time.

"Who calls upon me?"

Anya almost gagged as the strong smell of dark magic filled her nostrils. She crawled back, trying to get as far away from the book as possible, but smoke was filling the entire room. It tried to engulf her, fill her body with a magic that would surely kill her, but her shield kept her safe. She put more magic into the shield, successfully fighting off the will to cave into the powerful energy.

The sound of a man's voice pierced through her mind, causing her to scream out in pain. Her entire body quaked with fear as her shield started to slip. Taking a deep breath and summoning her strongest voice, she called out, "I do not call upon you, demon. Return to Hell where you belong and leave this realm." With as much power she could spare, she struck the book with a blast of green electricty. The smell of her own magic filled the air, combating the evil power that was intruding in her parents' study.

Although the woman was brave and her spirit was high, her mind was not. She had feared it. She had allowed the shadowy tentrils of the wicked smoke blind her with fear for the briefest of moments before she could gather enough courage and clarity of mind to act soundly. But it was too much time. The creatue was materializing before her eyes - an enormous beast whose mocking laughter echoed about the whole room and beyond as her spell bounced off his fiendish, leathery wings.

A pair of them that the Demon had used to shield himself and the book it was coming from. The beast had a massive, muscled chest of deep crimson, furred and exhuding sulfur. His visage was something out of the deepest nightmares, his yellow eyes burning with the need to cause pain and anguish. And Anya knew... she was His target.

"Foolish girl. You think that alone will banish me?"

He slowly sidesteped forward, showing her his two massive, claw like hands. The whole room was covered in the Hellish Smoke that blinded and suffocated. She would have to act fast, otherwise... she might be done with.

Anya didn't look direcly at the demon. She couldn't. She was afraid of it, terrified. Her knees shook, her stomach clenched, and she felt unbelievably hot. She didn't need to look at him to know that he was big and mean. This was a battle for her life. She had to banish it before it killed her.

It spoke again, its words pummeling her shield and making her head ache. Anya was many things, but she was no fool. She had been raised by two of the greatest mages of their time and they had taught her everything she knew. Encouraged by the thought of her parents, Anya grabbed the silver chain from around her neck and snapped it off. Spinning it around her head she whipped it forward. The pure enchanted silver grew longer and longer, and began to wrap itself around the demon. Nothing from the Otherworld could tolerate pure silver; some creatures even died immediately from contact. Anya knew that the silver wouldn't kill this demon, but it would at least cause it pain. The chain continued to wrap around the demon. "Die you foul beast," she hissed in Latin. Her magic leaked into the chain, crawling down the silver to do her bidding.

That had done it.

Who she thought she was? To summon him in order to simply banishim him again? No. The Archfiend would not allow her, he would not be treated like that. The silver burned against his leathery skin, and that alone sent another jolt of fury through his eyes. The beast bellowed in rage and ire, hoping that it alone would be enough to break the woman's concentration with terror and despair.

As it was not working properly, he acted. The Demon simply tackled Anya. His own supernatural presence bashing itself against her shield and shattering it - not without scarring himself - while his right, massive claw-like hand held her by the neck, pulling her towards the wall and lifting the poor witch from the floor. The chains still marked his skin with blisterings boils, but the pain was still bearable.

"Cease it!! Cease it, or I'll decapitate you and rape your corpse!"

Anya didn't loosen her grip on the silver chain, even when the demon tackled her. Her shield shattered, filling her senses with heat and pain. She struggled to regain control over her powers, trying to focus on creating a shield and burning him with her magic. A claw wrapped around her neck, cutting off her air. Her grip tightened around the chain, her teeth gritting in determination.

She was going to die. She knew it. But she couldn't die without taking this bastard down with her. She couldn't just let him roam the earth unopposed. With a desperate gasp for air, she let go of the chain. It fell harmlessly to the floor, but the grip on her neck didn't loosen. "Release me..." she tried to choke out.

"Or what, bitch?"

His voice was as rough as his movements. For a moment, the Fiend considered if he should bash the small woman against the wall once more, as if meaning the emphasis that he would really proceed to rape her corpse should she continue to try it. He had to think up about something. If she continued, he would have to use for her. But... but he liked the girl. She had been defiant, and her body was as gorgeous as she was strong.

And then, a wicked idea passed through his mind. With his other, claw-like hand, the Demon rubbed it against her tummy... and then her groin, touching her meaningfully, a grin on his face.

Disgust caused her body to shudder as his hand traveled to unwanted territory. Immediately her eyes flashed with anger and she reached out to the silver chain with her mind. It wrapped tightly around his offending hand and pulled it away. "Touch me again and it comes off!" she growled, the chain twisting this way and that, cutting into his flesh. She tried to push him away from her with her mind, but her magic wasn't strong enough to get past his defenses.

"Really?"

The Archfiend laugthed almost maniacly as he laid his hands above her tummy once more, caressing her with circular patterns as if he was marking her with his long, blackened nails. However, she could feel that the movements were never random, but seemed to flow into a whole by itself logic. They spoke of terrible things that they could be used to achieve, and Anya could sense the power his every move had.

And this time, the Beast was not gentle as he shoved his hand between her legs, forcing the dress to bend between Anya as he groped her womanhood over the fabric of the dress, his eyes malevolent.
