Well, in that case. *slips and slides her way down the water slide, giggling all the way and dropping into the pool below with a massive 'kersploosh"!*

My story? Wow. Well, that's a long one. I really have to enter some data into my profile soon. Maybe saying a few things here'll help.

I'm 26 now, and I wonder where all the time went. I've currently got the displeasure to be a land-locked mermaid. Grew up in the southern U.S.A., not too far at away at all from the Gulf. Now, unfortunately, work has me further west and not at all close to my old friend the ocean. Another annoyance is that my present climate isn't too terribly friendly to some aspects of my nature: I'm bi. Bi in the Bible belt. Oh, how lovely.

But, the biggest part of life is reacting to circumstances that we'd rather not have in our lives. And I do love my job. And, so far, I'm enjoying myself here on Lit!

No. No Mr. Tabby. I was talking in terms of life generalities there, so the "we" was all of us. I've managed to find a few isolated pockets of bi wildlife (maybe not wildlife, but I'd like to live a wild life) nearby. There are so many hangups that can occur though, and most of what I've found falls into the "Couple searching for..." vein. It's alright though. I date often enough, and have a great time getting to know people including another female now and again.

I'm in a western state that used to be its own country. *smiles a sly little hinting smile*

Plenty in Tejas, but there are parts of the state that are a whole day's drive away. It's awfully hard to overstate how big this state is.

But yeah. I'm living my life, and enjoying it. I don't want to give the impression that I find it desolate and barren here. No no no. Far from it. I am a happy mermaid. *wiggling my tailfin happily*

Abner, this is the waterpark of Lit... Hot tubs, waterfalls, water slides... and I put up a slip n' slide on the hill over there, for pleaseteaseme...

Bring the pandas in, and they can make themselves at home in the zen garden... just don't let 'em eat too much bamboo!

"Good" as in sublimation? Not really. Are the "mirror muscles" improving? Hmmmm. Prolly depends on the mirror. Stronger? Yeah, but I was never a sprinter anyway! I'd opt for the other knee response.

Also helps with swan dives. Knees/legs aren't much of a problem, but I do prefer the other fitness efforts and especially those occasions of wobbly knees. Any risk is worth the running.

Speaking of which, a woman at the gym explained that her obsession(?) with a certain leg machine had not to do with cracking walnuts with her thighs but with cracking her husband's ribs.............or head!
