I'll post the pictures of my xmas decorations here.. for Ruby ;)

This is a start of the house.. I'll get more pictures as soon as we are finished with the outside.

this is the front.. and one side

we have a chain link fence across the front of our house.. I'll take some pictures without those lights on.. so you can see the yard.. the lights on the fence.. take so much away.. it looks much better in real life..

*also.. the resizing of the picture was done quickly.. so it's not the best quality

Thank you!

Where do you live? I'll come for a drivebye. ;)

Your house looks magnificent decorated, FG. It really does. You put me to shame! I haven't even located the light boxes in the garage yet.

Ruby

Ruby.. I'm about a 24 hour drive away.. up in Washington.. bring the kids.. we have plenty of beds.. we have a town festival on the 8th.. we aren't the only (we are the best tho ;) ) decorated.. come see the whole town.. spend a few days with us.. :)

FG, I have got to get to bed now, but I can't wait to wake up tomorrow and see what you've posted. These are wonderful! Thank you.

Night Ruby

See ya later

and you are welcome

here is an 8ft snowman

and that is it for tonight.. the rest will be posted as soon as I get the outside tree and one more flowerbed done.. hehehe I think that's all that is left untouched by lights.. :)

The 3 foot Santa looks like he just zipped his dick in the zipper. The look on his face is priceless. Doh!

I'm fond of the snowman, he is friggin huge and umistakebly jovial.

freaky, your house officially has as many lights as the town I live in(pop. ~750)

thank you batter.

I found the santa and the snowman at a store called Rite-Aid. Not sure if this is a national chain.. but we have them here in Washington.

And yes.. use this thread freely for all xmas decorations.. I'd love to see other peoples houses.. towns.. trees... anything xmasy is great..

Ruby, We store them in Rubber Maid boxes above the garage and in a storage unit we have rented.

Nasty, we have a seperate pole and fuse box (added this year) for xmas decorations. We pay a yearly charge.. which is basicly an average.. (some kind of deal thru our power company). It doesn't actually cost that much. And I don't mind paying.. I love the joy it gives people.

I agree, making people happy is a GREAT thing, but, you gotta think about yourself, a bit. AS long as your not paying for all that, eayt your heart out.

Your house looks so festive, we hardly decorate the outside of our house at all but then again I live smack-dab in the middle of the city so we don't have a front yard or anything to put all that type of stuff.

Hurry up and post more pictures!

:D

I'm going to try to take some here in a few minutes.

The winds are terrible.. and I'm thinking we may lose power. *keeping fingers crossed that we don't*

Nice house / nice life / freaky gurl

Nice work Freaky Gurl and family...

Who would have ever thought the most wonderful and stable person on lit would be named Freaky Gurl.

I'd drive by but the 3500 mile move from Olympia makes it a bit far.

The weather here is terrible... sunny and warm... no sun breaks or drizzel how can we stand it...

Wishing you and yours the best Freaky

love from Lakeland, FL

Mac

ahhh Mac... Your kind words are to much.. I'm no better than you or anyone else here on Lit..

You, my love, are a wonderful person yourself. To bad you weren't still in Washington.. we could meet. You know where I live.. if you are ever up here in good old Wetington again.. my door is open. Come at Christmas time.. and enjoy my little Wonderland..

I have had 100 cars pass by in the last hour alone.. As you can tell our work is well rewarded. I do not do this to "show off" (as I've been accused of in a few emails I've recieved). I do this.. because it brings joy to people from all over the county. It seems to get bigger every year.

:)

Freakygirl, the house looks amazing! I wish I could pop on over and walk around the house admiring it in person.
Ignore the silly emails. THank you for sharing with us :)

I love all the pictures, Freaky! Your page is great. I can't wait to see more when you add them.

What a great idea having an outside tree. This year, I've branched out to a small table top tree along with the big one. I wanted the little one to showcase my small collection of Waterford crystal ornaments.

We just got our tree today. A 10 foot noble fir. Wow, that sucker was heavy to bring into the house.

I'll post pictures when we get it decorated.

Does anybody else collect Radko or Polonaise ornaments?

How wonderful!

Thank you freakygurl for helping me get into the Christmas spirit! It's been hard to do this season, not only because of the change in world events, but the warmer weather we've been having here is beginning to get to me!
