Why? The birth of Christ was in the middle east, there certainly aren't any snow covered mountains there.

Given a choice, I'd take beach weather any time over snow and ice.

I like beach weather, just not for Christmas. I couldn't live in a place like Florida, etc. either. I need my winter!

Well, it will be soon. I'm off to work for an hour or so and then on to the endodontist to have a holiday root canal done. Not exactly the relaxing Christmas Eve I envisioned, but typical for me.

Hey brother, I'm dreamin of white beaches and pohutukawas. But instead I looked out my window 5 minutes ago and saw snow falling. It's turned back to rain again now, so it's just cold and miserable, not even pretty.

And I got a tiny christmas tree from my daughter today , it's the only decoration in my house, but it makes me feel so much better to have it.
